What languages does LanguageTool support?

The free version of LanguageTool supports the following languages: Arabic, Asturian, Belarusian, Breton, Catalan (Balearic, Valencian), Chinese, Crimean Tatar, Danish, Dutch (Belgium), English (Australian, Canadian, GB, New Zealand, South African, US), Esperanto, French (Belgium, Canada, Switzerland), Galician, German (Austria, Germany, Swiss), Greek, Irish, Italian, Japanese, Khmer, Persian, Polish, Portuguese (Angola preAO, Brazil, Moçambique preAO, Portugal), Romanian, Russian, Slovak, Slovenian, Spanish (voseo), Swedish, Tagalog, Tamil, Ukrainian

For Chinese, Japanese, Persian and Tamil there is no spell check available. This page lists the number of rules per language to give a very rough indication of how well a language is supported in the free version.

The premium version of LanguageTool supports the same languages but offers more than 20,000 additional checks for English, German, French, Spanish, Dutch, Polish, and Portuguese.
