My credit card is not accepted

Updated over 3 weeks ago

If you're having trouble paying by credit card, first check our overview of supported payment methods to make sure your card type is accepted.

If your credit card is supported, but the payment still fails, it may be due to:

  • You’re using an open proxy or network like Tor: these can interfere with payments. Try switching to a direct internet connection.

  • Invalid credit card number or billing address: double-check that all details are entered correctly.

  • Incorrect or expired expiration date: make sure the expiration date is up-to-date.

  • Hold or restriction on your account: your bank may have placed a temporary hold or restriction - for example, limiting international transactions.

  • Insufficient funds: ensure there’s enough available balance on your card.

If you're still unable to complete the payment, consider trying another supported payment method from our payment options overview.
