The browser add-on doesn't detect my Premium account.

If your browser add-on isn’t recognizing your LanguageTool Premium account, don’t worry - this can usually be resolved quickly with a few simple steps.

After installing the LanguageTool add-on, it should automatically detect your Premium status if you're logged in at languagetool.org. Please always double-check whether you have logged in with the correct email address.

If this doesn’t work, please follow the steps below to manually link your account.

1. Click the LanguageTool icon in your browser toolbar.

2. Select the gear icon to open the settings menu.

   

3. Scroll to the “Account” section within the settings.

   

4. Click “Login” and sign in using the same email address linked to your Premium subscription.

5. Once you're logged in, your Premium features should become available immediately.
